  • A note from our Legislative Advocate, Barbara McNeil: Get involved and learn what is going on in your state to stop anti-pet bills: In addition to posting the introduction of a state's bill on the adtdiscussion @ yahoo.groups, I have set up members email groups by state to send out alerts. Please act on those alerts. If you go to the ATCA website and click on important links, at the pet law link you can find an internet pet law discussion group for your state. These groups are great for receiving more in depth discussion of issues in your state. AKC.org lists by state Federation of AKC Dog Clubs and Other Allied Groups. Join the group in your state. These groups need your support and offer a wealth of information on legislative issues that affect you and your state. If you have any questions regarding any dog legislation, please contact Barbara at eye10west@aol.com
